Badged Talent Delivered! Global Virtual IBM Z Career Fairs

The IBM Z Skills team just wrapped up an exciting series of Regional Virtual IBM Z Career Fairs, marking a significant milestone in our mission to connect clients with talent. Over eleven events in 2024, we facilitated introductions between 70 leading companies and more than 1200 eager job seekers. Participation required job seekers to earn their IBM Z Xplore Concepts badge, demonstrating foundational mainframe skills and a commitment to professional growth.

In preparation for these career fairs, our team embarked on a global tour, engaging students and promoting IBM Z technology. Utilizing the free IBM Z Xplore platform, we helped students acquire essential mainframe skills. Throughout 2024 alone, we visited 116 universities and reached over 10,215 students, igniting their interest in IBM Z.

Our virtual career fairs spanned multiple regions, including America, Canada, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific. Additionally, we introduced our inaugural Career Experience Fairs in Brazil and Latin America, offering a deeper dive into the diverse career opportunities within participating companies.

The enthusiasm we've witnessed has been tremendous, and we are excited to continue expanding our Virtual Career Fairs and Career Experience Fairs. We look forward to connecting even more IBM Z Xplore badge earners with exciting career opportunities around the world!
