Mike Varley has worked at SecureKey since 2011 designing and implementing innovative solutions around authentication, identity, and mobile payments. Mike's primary focus has been on solutions that balance usability, security, privacy, and functionality in the consumer identity sector. He is currently co-author of the OpenID Connect iGov specification and works closely with public and private sector organizations to help develop new opportunities for digital identity across industries including financial,telecomm, commercial, health care, and government. He is currently focused on SecureKey's user centric and privacy based blockchain identity project.

Blockchain, Hybrid Cloud, Computing Grids, Storage and Networking are core competencies of Robert. His primary industry is Banking and Financial Markets. Robert has in depth knowledge of major applications such as transaction processing, low latency trading, core banking, high performance computing, and payment systems and the impact of these applications on the underlying infrastructure. He currently leads the deployment of IBM’s Enterprise-class Blockchain cloud service.
