Any TS4500 and TS7700 with AOS remote access functionality enabled using the current UK broker
Abstract
The UK based AOS broker aos.uk.ihost.com is planned to be discontinued by end of year 2021 and might lead to potential loss of remote access capability.
Description
When AOS is configured for IBM support remote access, it allows selecting either of the currently available two brokers as well as both:
The UK-based aos.uk.ihost.com broker will be discontinued by end of year 2021.
A replacement broker aosrelay1.us.ihost.com with IP address 72.15.223.60 has been made available to replace the current UK broker.
Any TSSC/IMC where the UK broker is currently configured needs to be reconfigured to allow network access to the new hostname/IP address.

Recommended Action
A TSSC/IMC patch AddAOSRelay1Broker that enables the new replacement server via the TSSC/IMC Web UI has been made available.
Upon installation of the patch the current settings will be preserved as shown, allowing to modify the configuration as needed by placing the missing checkmark for aosrelay1.us.ihost.com:

In addition, the client network configuration might need to be modified to allow this new target server in addition to the current two to prevent any undesired disruption of remote access services.
This might involve changes to client firewall and proxy configuration and must be planned accordingly.
