- The PowerVM NovaLink installer now supports automated installation of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) by using a configured kickstart file. For more information about installing PowerVM NovaLink on an RHEL logical partition, see Installing the PowerVM NovaLink software on a Red Hat Enterprise Linux partition.
- PowerVM NovaLink supports PowerVM Open I/O, which supports Software Defined Environments (SDE) for Software Defined Networking (SDN) and storage.
