Abstract
When deploying with an externally managed environment profile, the System Monitoring shared service is not supported on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7.1.
Content
Problem: Due to some unexpected changes in the RHEL 7.1 distribution, the System Monitoring shared service cannot be deployed on RHEL 7.1 in a multisystem environment/multiple cloud group configuration using an externally managed environment profile.
Resolution: When deploying the System Monitoring shared service using an externally managed environment profile, select an OS Base Image other than the RHEL 7.1 options.
