This year's event is hosted by the MIT-IBM Watson AI Lab and marks the one-year anniversary of announcing the ten-year $240M investment to create the lab. It is also a part of AI Research Week, which will convene thought leaders in AI to share their research, network, identify and formulate new research directions, join in thought-provoking lectures, panels, meetups, workshops, and seminars, and forge new collaborations to address topics critical to the advancement of the field of AI.
